A super simple
reading system
that you can learn in less than five minutes.
NO DICE
INSTRUCTIONS
Imagine a single, standard, six sided die. See the dots on each
side. Now, imagine the dots trying to connect with each other.
One dot stands alone. It signifies a sense of individuality and
potential. It represents the beginning, a search for connection, and
a quest for answers and direction (it has no other dot to connect
to).
Two dots align together. This represents a direct connection and
partnership. It signifies unity, harmony, and the strength found in
mutual support without distractions or other influences.
Three dots can form a triangle. This connection is stable, but it
suggests the potential for new connections and pathways. It
represents creativity, growth, and the beginning of complexity.
Four dots create a square. This symbolises balance, stability, and
structure. There is harmony in the connections, and it represents a
solid foundation on which more can be built.
Five dots form a shape with one centre dot and four surrounding it.
This signifies dynamic interaction, change, and the potential for
new directions. It's a stage of transition and exploration.
Six dots can form a hexagon, or two sets of three dots. This is the
ultimate balance and unity, representing completeness and the
fulfilment of connections. It signifies perfection, harmony, and the
realisation of potential.
In this system, each number of dots represents a different stage
of connection and interaction, guiding you to understand the
complexities of relationships and progress. Don’t try to memorise
this, try to understand WHY these dots represent the things they
do. Once you understand that, the system becomes second
nature.
To utilise the system, simply look at your spectator and imagine
them (or yourself) rolling a die. Notice what side it lands on, and
begin your interpretation. Visualising the rolling die can really
help you to randomise the outcome, whereas not visualising it
can potentially lead you to biased choices, as maybe you find
certain numbers easier to interpret, or you simply prefer certain
lines of reading that you come out with when a particular number
comes up. Use the visualisation, trust me, it helps!
As a quick example, let’s say you look at your spectator and
imagine they rolled a four. You might say,
“When I look at you, I get a sense of balance, stability, and
structure. I see a solid foundation and harmony in your life. At
present, you are in a place where things are well-organised, and
you have a stable base to build upon.
This could indicate that you have established a strong support
system, whether in your personal life, career, or emotional well-
being. It's a time to appreciate the security you have created and to
consider how you can use this foundation to further your goals.
However, while the stability is great, be mindful not to become too
rigid. Ensure that your structured life allows for flexibility and
growth. Embrace opportunities that come your way, and don't be
afraid to make changes if needed, knowing that your strong
foundation will support you.
What I’m feeling from you right now is a time of balance and
solidity. Use this time to build and expand, keeping an eye out for
new possibilities that can enrich your life whilst maintaining the
stability you value.”
It’s simply an elaboration of the four’s meaning, framed around
what you can ‘feel’ or ‘sense’. There’s also a simple structure too:
Highlight the good, then mention any potential
negatives, framed as reminders, caution or guidance,
and finally, end with friendly advice that won’t cause
them to make any drastic or life-altering changes.
The good, the bad and the friendly.
You can use this system anytime, anywhere, at a moment’s notice.
Incorporate it into your mentalism routines or use it for a
standalone reading. You could even disguise it as something else
too such as aura readings or psychometry.
Ancient looking viking dice made from reindeer bone (ethically
sourced) are widely available now, simply google “bone dice”. Not
only are these dice just plain cool and fun to carry, but now you
can do an entire reading with one, and they do look incredibly
mystical, which also adds to the enchantment. So rather than using
imaginary dice that nobody knows about, you can use a real one
and have your spectator actually roll it. You could even give your
reading further structure by having them roll three times,
representing past, present and future, or love life, work life,
personal goals.
If you have an electronic die that wirelessly tells you what’s been
rolled, once you secretly discover the number, you could give the
reading for that number first before revealing the number itself. Or,
my preferred way, is to reveal the number first to demonstrate
some level of “higher knowing”, and then give the reading for that
number, strengthening the reading’s credibility and perceived
intuitive insight.
The RAT
The RAT stands for Relationships, Ambitions and Travel. It is a
simple topic structure for even the shortest of readings.
Relationships covers not just romantic, but relationships in
general.
Ambitions covers work and career, as well as goals relating to gain,
wealth and abundance.
Travel not only covers literal travel, but also general direction in
life. This could be considered ambitions and goals that are not
work related.
Let’s say, for example, you imagine your spectator rolling a three.
Here, you would elaborate on three’s meaning within the context of
relationships.
Then, you imagine they roll a two. Again, elaborate on the
number’s meaning within the context of their work or career related
ambitions.
Finally, you imagine they roll a six. Repeat the process, explaining
the meaning of number six within the context of their general
direction in life and any guidance you can offer.
A sentence or two for each of the RAT topics is more than enough
to present your general impressions as a reading when interacting
with a participant. Of course, you could make the readings longer
and more in-depth if the situation requires it.
Thank you, and enjoy!
